Frequently Asked Questions
1. What if I have more images than my paid plan allows?
Only the images fitting into the plan quota are optimized, and the remaining are optimized the next month.
If, for example, you have 1600 images to optimize and chose our "Basic plan" with 1000 image optimizations per month then 1000 images are optimized right away and 600 more will be optimized the next month when the quota resets.
To skip the wait, you may choose to upgrade your paid plan to a higher tier.
2. I have not reached the paid plan limit for this month. Would the remaining image optimizations carry over to the next month?
No. The remaining image optimizations from the current month do not carry over to the next month. Your monthly quota simply resets at the start of the new billing period.
3. Can I upgrade my free plan to a paid option?
You can upgrade at any time you like. Just go to the Image Optimizer app, click "Settings", and choose the paid option best suited for you.
4. What are the free plan limitations?
The Free plan comes with 50 image optimizations one-time non-recurring limit. It has full functionality of the Image Optimizer tools. Once the 50 free images limit is reached, it won't renew. You may choose to upgrade to any of our paid plans starting from as little as $4.99/month with 1000 image optimizations monthly. The images stay optimized even if you uninstall our application. You may also choose to restore the images to their original state from the Image Optimizer dashboard before removing it.
5. I have a subscription to a paid plan that I no longer want to use. How can I cancel it?
You can always cancel your current subscription immediately by uninstalling Image Optimizer. Already optimized images will stay optimized. However, you will lose all the Image Optimizer settings and the optimization history. If you only want to suspend your subscription to continue using Image Optimizer later, send us an email at support@loyaltyharbour.com
6. I have multiple Shopify stores. Can I use a single Image Optimizer subscription for all of them?
No, Shopify does not support using a single app subscription on multiple stores. You have to subscribe to a paid plan for each store individually.
